Rigorous curriculum is designed to enrich our students with the state-of-the-art skills and knowledge. To increase our students’ competitive advantage in the business world, three common core courses are embedded in our curriculum to equip students with solid training to excel in their profession. The course Data-driven Business Modelling trains students to use data to build models for business insights; the course Introduction to Business Programming with Python equips students with programming skills essential for managers in the digital world; the course Business Case Analysis and Communication enhances students’ presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Our business undergraduate students are provided with precise opportunities to accelerating their learning potentials and crafting their future career through studying Double Majors, CityU Talents Programmes, and the Joint Bachelor’s Degree Programmes with Columbia University (U.S.), National Taiwan University (Taiwan), or ESSEC Business School (France). They can also go places to broaden horizon via participating in academic exchange in one or more of our 200+ partner institutions, contributing to service learning trips, or joining summer immersion programmes.
We care our students’ career development. Throughout their study with College of Business, students can choose from a wide variety of credit-bearing and non credit-bearing internships. They may also participate in supervised consulting projects in which they work in real-life projects of companies and NGOs and present solutions to managers and executives. We invite industry leaders to become mentors to share their vision and wisdom with our students. Our own Business Career Development (BCD) Team strives to provide tailor-made career advising and workshops for our business students.
