CityUHK Talents Programmes

To address the learning needs and to enhance the education journey of students, the City University of Hong Kong introduced the CityUHK Talents Program for students who excel in their academics. CityUHK College of Business offers the following pairs of 3-year Undergraduate Degree Plus 1-Year Taught Postgraduate Degree Programmes:

Approval of entry to and exit from these programmes rest with the respective programme-offering academic units. Here are the minimum eligibility criteria:

New Year 1 Students
  • HKDSE score ≥ 23 in 3 core and 2 elective subjects with Attained in Citizenship and Social Development; or
  • IB score ≥ 38 or an equivalent overseas qualification as determined by the home academic unit in consultation with the College; or
  • Fulfil the entrance scholarship requirements
Existing Year 1 Students
  • Top 10% of year 1 undergraduate students in the College of Business and a minimum CGPA of 3.4;
  • No failed grades in any courses in Semesters A and B;
  • Completion of at least 30 credit units in Semesters A and B, including the number of credit units specified by the College of Business/ home academic units of required courses; and
  • Recommended by the Major Leader
On-going Performance in Undergraduate Study
  • A minimum yearly CGPA of 3.4 or above at the end of Semester B of the year; and
  • Conditions of offer for Admission to TPG Programmes (to be specified in the conditional offer letter)
